General Information and Policies

Who to Contact if You Have Questions or Complaints

The Potomac Kiwanis Soccer Club values input from parents, coaches and players. However, because the Club is composed of volunteers, communications must be efficient and organized.

Parents should first direct their questions or complaints to their child's coach. If the coach does not know a particular answer, they will take the responsibility to find out. However, if the coach is unresponsive, then the parent should contact someone on the PK Management team (refer to PK Management section for email addresses).

If a parent has a complaint about their child's coach (i.e., their child is not receiving adequate playing time) and the parent has attempted to resolve  the matter directly with the coach but to no avail, then the Manager should be contacted.

Coaches are expected to support the policies and procedures of the Club, even if they disagree with them. If coaches are having problems with a particular player, they should first be addressed with the player's parents. If the parents are unresponsive, then the coach should contact the Manager or Assistant Manager.

All registration questions must be directed to the Registrar. Questions or complaints directed to anyone else will be ignored. The Club Management team has the final say on all registrations and team placement.
