The Potomac Kiwanis
Soccer Club strives to place all children that register on time on a soccer team.
If a team does not exist in a given age group due to a shortage of players,
the Club will recommend a neighboring Club in the Arlington Soccer
Association that your child can play for. All children are
placed on teams by the PK Registrar according to
age and grade level. If a child does not meet the county age cut-off
(i.e., is too old) a waiver may be obtained by the Club for the child to play
with his/hers peers in the same grade level. By registering on-line
with PK Soccer, parents agree to certain waivers of liability.

form. PK does not generally allow
children to "play up" in an age group higher than his/her grade level. We have found this to be in the best
interest of the child and his/her teammates, as well as other teams in the ASA. Every effort is made to
grant special requests with regard to placing children on a team with
a preferred coach, or a specific friend or two. However, PK
is obligated to keep team sizes within an age group as even as possible in
order to best serve the interests of all the players. This sometimes means
that special requests cannot be accommodated. In addition, the Club
has found that, in the long run, mixing children from different
schools (i.e.,
